  From your beachfront deck, enjoy resort kids playing on the beach or fishing from our docks, see pleasure boaters going down the channel, join in the s’more making at our community campfire, listen to the happy squeals of the young toad hunters, or kick back and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. If you want a little exercise, throw a few horseshoes, toss a basketball around, play some beach volleyball, or push your young ones on the swing sets. You can also rent one of our watercraft to explore the islands and channels.
  Hill Island Road is a great place to stroll, walk, jog, run, blade, bicycle, or cruise to enjoy the scenery, bird watch, and look for deer and other wildlife. To extend your experience, add the road on Island 8 to your viewing.
   In Cedarville and Hessel, you can find numerous antique, craft and gift shops, marine stores, restaurants, and ice cream shops. You can enjoy the playgrounds, sports facilities, nature trails & preserves, 2 marinas, 2 museums, and a boat building school. You may want to photograph the scenery, birds, and wildlife, and visit the local festivals.
